Bethany Beach Riders (BBR) provides pre-arranged, door-to-door transportation for local trips in and around Bethany Beach and nearby Delaware beach communities. Our service is designed for beach travel, families with gear, and peak-season local trips.
How do I book a shuttle in Bethany Beach, DE?
All rides are booked through our app. Enter your pickup and drop-off locations, select your date and time, and confirm your ride.
Do you accept same-day bookings?
Yes. Same-day bookings are welcome when availability allows. During peak times, booking in advance is recommended.
What areas does Bethany Beach Riders serve?
BBR currently shuttles guests within Bethany Beach, South Bethany, Ocean View, Millville, and Frankford. Service areas and hours may vary by date and season.
What are your hours of operation?
8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Daily
BBR operates on a seasonal schedule aligned with peak beach demand and may change from time-to-time. Please book within our app to view updated hours in real-time.
Do you provide transportation outside of Bethany Beach?
Our Sussex County beach shuttle serves South Bethany, Ocean View, Millville & select areas of Frankford. BBR focuses on short, local trips such as beach access rides and travel between nearby neighborhoods, rentals, and lodging. We are not designed for long-distance or out-of-area transportation.
Why doesn’t service extend to the marina side of the Delaware Seashore State Park?
For the safety of our drivers and guests, BBR currently provides transportation services only within designated areas of the State Park. At this time, BBR rides do not extend across the highway to the marina side of the park.
We appreciate your understanding as we continue to evaluate routes and improve our Bethany Beach transportation services during our first season.
Is beach shuttle pricing fixed or do you have surge pricing?
We offer flat-rate, no surge beach shuttle pricing, arranged in advance and based on your trip details. Bethany Beach Riders shuttle does not use surge pricing.
Are your vehicles and drivers licensed and insured?
Yes! BBR operates licensed and insured vehicles with professional, vetted drivers. Safety and reliability are a priority on every ride.
Can you accommodate families and beach gear?
Yes! BBR is designed with families and beach travel in mind, and can carry up to six people per ride. Riders may bring standard beach gear such as chairs, bags, and umbrellas.
What if my plans change?
If you need to modify or cancel your ride, please do so on the app as early as possible. Specific policies are shown during booking.
What happens if my ride is delayed?
BBR schedules rides in advance to minimize delays. If anything impacts your pickup time, updates will be provided using your booking contact information.
Is tipping required?
Tipping is optional and always appreciated, but never required!

Absolutely. We’re built for beach travel. Standard gear like chairs, umbrellas, bags, and manageably-sized coolers are welcome on every ride.
Do you offer rides for large groups or families?
Yes. BBR serves groups of all sizes. Your ride is private; you won’t share the vehicle with strangers, unlike a typical shuttle service.
Is parking at Bethany Beach bad in the summer?
Parking during peak season can be very limited and stressful. Bethany Beach Riders is a convenient alternative since we pick you up at your rental or home and drop you right at the beach.
Do you serve vacation rentals and Airbnbs in the Bethany Beach area?
Yes. We pick up from vacation rentals, hotels, and private homes throughout our service area. Just provide your address when booking.
What is the best way to get to Bethany Beach without driving?
Bethany Beach Riders offers pre-scheduled, door-to-door transportation so you can skip driving and parking altogether. Book through our app or call us directly.
Are your drivers background-checked and insured?
Yes. All BBR drivers are vetted professionals, and our vehicles are fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind.
Do you provide car seats or booster seats?
Bethany Beach Riders can provide booster seats upon request when available. We strongly encourage customers needing a booster seat to book rides in advance so we can best accommodate your request.
Parents and guardians must provide their own rear-facing infant car seats. For safety reasons, children requiring rear-facing infant seats cannot be transported without one.
Parents and guardians are responsible for properly securing and inspecting all car seat and booster seat connections before travel begins.
